In 2008 BTC raised additional capital to add 50 rooms to the property due to very high demand and do a complete rooms-redo and upgrade the spa facility in 2009. This turned out to be a successful move in generating significant additional revenue and utilizing the common facilities more efficiently, while also attracting a different segment of the market with duplex ‘family suites’ and other room types.
